A few years ago we invited 2000 people to our ‘front yard’ for a big party, a wonderful celebration of music, culture and community. That event has since evolved into many outdoor festival style events and Cumberland Village Works has become a year-round host to some of the world’s best performers.

Tyger Jackson, Tereza Tomek, Drama Queen, Selayne, Five Alarm Funk, and Fabi Batallanos with Delirio Cumbia pictured here.Thanks to the partners Cumberland Village Works, Long Shot Events -Mt.Eliah, & The Waverley Hotel who threw the party. Melissa Roeske and I (Cumberland Village Works) have been involved a Festival style event in this Village, in mid August, for over 20 years and with response like this look forward to many more. So many humans worked so hard to bring this magic to the street, but my heart is full from the beautiful dancing vibes that YOU (the capacity audience) shared freely with all of us that night. The universal 'love language' of MUSIC is the path that i will continue to follow as i navigate through a world of confusion and division.
