Speakeasy Electro Swing is coming back at you in the Comox valley once again. With nights happening in 11 cities and 5 countries worldwide, Speakeasy is one of the top purveyors of the Electro Swing and Vintage Remix scenes around. DJ Eliazar had a great summer of shows including 4 packed nights at the Montreal Jazz Festival, killing it at Rock the Block here in Cumberland, while our local hero Dubtecha worked tirelessly to help put on the Atmosphere Gathering in our great community. He needs no introduction as his crew, the Naked DJs have been putting on high quality events in the valley for many a year.
Last year, we started this night at the Waverley with mostly sold out shows full of folks dressing up to get down, and we want this vibe to grow even more in the coming year. With special guests, free swing dance lessons, and other random performances, we know the Speakeasy is ripe for you to enjoy a night of saucy fun. There will be prizes for the best dressed man and lady this round, so go for broke in evoking the styles of the last great depression…. as the roaring 20s are only 6 years away…..
